Northstowe Half Marathon & 5K

Boomerang Radio is proud to be the official radio media partner of the Northstowe Half Marathon and Tom's Trust 5K on Sunday 19 April 2026.

The event takes place in the new South Cambridgeshire town and starts and finishes at Northstowe Secondary College's sports field.

The Half Marathon gets underway at 9:30am. There's prizes for the first, second and third place male and female finishers and all participants receive a running medal.

The multi-terrain course takes you past important historical features of neighbouring Longstanton and out into the surrounding countryside with its open skies and wide natural vistas.

The event raises money for a whole range of different charities. The official charity partner for the 5K is Cambridge-based Tom's Trust.

Boomerang Radio's Matt Webb will be there on the day with music, starting the event and welcoming runners across the finish line.
