Neil Clark

Neil Clark started his radio career in his home town of Bishops Stortford as a hospital radio presenter in 1986. By 1987 he spread his wings to local radio, Ten17, where he started as a technical operator. He honed his craft in the studio and then the management gave him his own Saturday evening show.

Neil's life suddenly changed direction due to personal circumstances and he put radio on the back burner for quite a long time.

It was during the Covid Lockdown Neil got back into presenting by launching his own podcast New Starz Show. He became renowned in the indie music scene interviewing singers, songwriters and musicians. Managers and Promoters jumped onboard and put their artists on Neil's podcast to get valuable air time.

Suddenly Neil's podcast was heard across the UK and US as a syndicate show on a combination of internet and community radio stations.

Celebrity artists were soon drawn to the podcast like Rozalla, Sean Smith, Hamish Stewart, Paul Roberts, Deniece Pearson and many more.

Neil presented on UK Talk Radio, Champions Radio UK, KL1, Digital City Radio. He also was a contestant on RadioStar 2024 where he came 5th out of 25 other contestants. Neil said "It was a great experience and something I would do again. The judges were seasoned professionals in the radio industry who gave invaluable feedback. Certainly makes you a better presenter for taking part."

Now a part of the Boomerang family, Neil can be heard on Sundays from 2pm. He'll test your knowledge with What Do You Think It Is...I Bet You Don't Know and Funny stories.
